What I love best about photography is the fact that it is built on relationships. When I go to photograph my clients, I walk into sessions with the perspective that engaging with them is the most important thing. If I successfully do that, I will be successful in the photoshoot, because they will be comfortable with me, the will feel safe with me, and I will authentically capture who they really are. That is what creates the photographs that are treasured forever.
How do you take the time to build a conversation with your clients? Do you believe people skills are just as important than photographic skills?
